ITV This Morning’s Alison Hammond’s ‘crass’ comment to JoJo Siwa called out by fans

This Morning customers have actually been left not impressed with speaker Alison Hammond after she made a ‘crass’ comment to JoJo Siwa about her partnership with Chris Hughes.

Today viewers have actually been left unimpressed with presenter Alison Hammond after she made a ‘crass’ comment to JoJo Siwa concerning her partnership with Chris Hughes. Alison Hammond has come under attack from some Today visitors after making a statement to JoJo Siwa during Monday’s show. In the episode, Alison was joined by co-host Paddy McGuiness, and they switched to Chris Hughes who was stay in Bexhill. Chris had gone there to talk with 90-year-old Barby Keel, who runs a pet refuge. Learn More Katie Cost and Victoria Beckham’s 20-year fight – and Katie’s ‘gleeful’ revenge. The discussion moved gears when JoJo Siwa, fresh off her look on Lorraine’s ITV programme and Chris’s Celeb Big Brother co-star, was brought into the mix. Alison excitedly spouted out: “Pay attention, Chris, before you go, we’ve got somebody who wanted to say a quick hi to you! Have a look at this,” reports the Mirror. JoJo then showed up on screen, cheerily greeting: “Hey Christopher!” As Chris and JoJo exchanged pleasantries, Chris revealed that she would be joining him in the Cotswolds next week for family introductions and to help Barby at the shelter. Paddy couldn’t resist teasing Chris about his previous remark that JoJo’s presence on TV gives him energy in the morning. Paddy humorously asked: “Can I just ask, how do you know JoJo gives you power in the Morning? What’s going on here? Hello! Hashtag awkward.” Alison couldn’t hold back her giggles following Paddy’s jovial poke at Chris, then turned to JoJo and confessed: “Honestly, I’m so invested in you and Chris.” Alison didn’t shy away from asking the burning question, remarking: “I don’t care what anyone says, I want to know. I’m so invested! I love this little relationship; it’s lovely, but just for the record, what is your relationship status with Chris now?” JoJo paused before replying with a smile, “Erm, I will say he is up there as one of my favorite people in the whole world-” However, her response was interrupted by Alison with a playful jab: “With benefits.” Alison’s blunt comment elicited a strong response from viewers, some of whom found her directness distressing. One viewer took to social media, pleading: “Please stop this JoJo and Chris segment on #ThisMorning.” Many echoed these sentiments, with another adding: “I love a laugh and all that, but that was a rude comment by Alison regarding JoJo and Chris’ relationship.” Yet another viewer expressed discomfort, stating: “Leave Jojo alone. Alison, that was unnecessary.” The conversation failed to amuse everyone, as a different viewer commented: “I find this whole thing with JoJo and Chris nauseating. @ITV and @thismorning just need to drop it. It’s not cute, it’s embarrassing. #thismorning.” Despite Alison’s insinuation, JoJo remained graceful, putting the spotlight back on the positive effects of her connection with Chris, sharing that his presence in her life brought her exceptional happiness.
