Govt launches Rs 2.3 crore start-up difficulty to enhance rooftop solar adoption
The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy has launched a 2.3-crore start-up innovation challenge to accelerate rooftop solar and sustainable energy services in India. Start-ups can apply by August 20 to compete for cash prizes and incubation assistance.
The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) on Saturday announced the launch of a Rs 2.3-crore startup innovation difficulty with an aim to speed up roof solar installation and renewable energy adoption in the country. The Innovative Projects Start-Up Challenge on Roof Solar (RTS) and Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) Technologies was released during the National Conference on Skill Development for the Renewable Energy Workforce.
